At Brecken Health, we’re excited to introduce our new After-Hours Telehealth Service, designed to provide you with timely, accessible medical care outside of regular clinic hours. Whether you’re an existing patient or new to our practice, you can now consult with our experienced GPs from the comfort of your home, helping you get the care you need, when you need it.

How it works

Our After-Hours Telehealth Service operates:

  • Monday to Friday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Book your appointment online via our online booking platform. Consultations are private and incur a fee payable at the time of booking.

Important Information 

  • This service is available to new and exisiting patients of Ashton Ave Medical Centre
  • All consultations are conducted privately via secure telehealth platforms
  • Not suitable for emergencies or complex medical conditions, call emergency services if urgent

Who Is This Service For?

This telehealth option is designed as a quick, convenient “band-aid” for straightforward medical needs such as:

  • Issuing medical certificates
  • Repeat prescriptions for stable, ongoing medication
  • New prescriptions for short-term or minor illnesses

Please note: This service does not cover Schedule 8 medications, referrals, pathology requests, or complex and chronic condition management. For these, please book an in-person appointment during regular clinic hours.

What Are The Fees?

Consultations are privately billed at $59 and require payment at the time of booking.

What Medical Issues Can Be Addressed?

The service covers medical certificates, repeat prescriptions for stable medications, and new prescriptions for minor or short-term illnesses. Chronic or intricate health conditions cannot be covered by our telehealth service.

What if I Need a Referral or Specialist Care?

We advise you book an in-person appointment during our regular clinic hours.
